Reason for joining DECA: I wanted the experience of competing internationally (and winning of course), and Deca's pragmatic approach fit me better than any other organization's. Also, DECA's ICDC is probably one of the best experiences you'll have in high school.
Favorite DECA memory: Probably my first ICDC in 2010. Although Kentucky wasn't the most enchanting place to be, I met wild cab drivers, ate great food, and saw 15000 students in the same room for the first time. All I can say is, it was legit.

Reason for joining DECA: Well, I joined a business club because I planned on taking business in the future. Let's just say I joined DECA because it just sounded cooler and less boring, and I'm glad I joined! DECA is one of the best clubs I joined.
Favorite DECA memory: Being at Orlando Florida with my partner, getting super depressed thinking that we didn't make it to the next round, but then hearing our names get called out :)

DECA seemed cooler, and it seemed like everyone was doing it, so I picked it. The new people I met and the fun I had at conferences made me sure I had made a great decision!
